The LV= Streetwise safety roadshow is a new, unique, free, fully interactive educational experience that is touring various summer events across the UK to help educate children on safety issues. It is a mobile version of part of the LV= Streetwise safety village in Bournemouth.

LV= was a founder sponsor of the safety centre, is now its lead commercial sponsor and has solely funded the safety bus, developing it with the generous help of organisations such as RoSPA, CAPT and Network Rail.

Just like the safety centre, the roadshow aims to help minimise the risk of accidents among 5-11 year old children by showing them danger in scenarios in a realistic setting, thereby making them aware of potential everyday dangers in the world around them.

The first of its kind, housed on a converted ‘bendy bus’, the experience includes a life size kitchen, lounge area, and road and rail hazard simulators.Young people have the opportunity to become 'danger detectives', journeying through the bus with each section brought to life by a selection of interactive audio-visual experiences, from kitchen fires to shorting plug sockets and a road hazard simulator. On completion of the experience they become a qualified 'Danger Detective'!
